Help Musicians UK (HMUK) is the leading independent music
charity providing help, support and opportunities to empower musicians at all
stages of their lives. As well as playing a vital role supporting working
musicians who are dealing with an illness, injury or crisis point, they also
provide a range of opportunities to support learning and professional
development.
Every year Help Musicians give grants, provide opportunities and offer advice to talented musicians in the final stages of training and the first few years of working professionally.
The transmission fund provides grants of £500-£1,500 to fund opportunities that focus on developing your creating practice and furthering your professional development at a crucial point in your career. They can support opportunities such as short courses, workshops, training, and short term periods of mentoring with an expert in your field.
